Equipment Check
Spring has arrived, we hope. Have you had your clubs out yet? Thought about adding a Hybrid to your bag or maybe a new fairway metal? If you're not in the market for new clubs, take a good look at your equipment and check your grips. If they are more than a year old, you may want to think about replacing them. Don't forget the putter! There are many new styles and colors of grips to pick from rather than just the plain old black ones.
Make sure when you have them installed that they are sized correctly for you. As you close your hand around the club, your little finger and ring finger (on the target hand) should just touch the back of your palm (too much gap or overlap will not allow your hands to work properly). Grips can be sized for you after you choose a new grip that is comfortable in your hand. Grips, installed, will cost about $5.50 to $11.00 per club.
Enjoy
the weather, take time to get out and practice and play.
